Vincent says: One of the oldest restaurants in San Francisco is Ernie’s on Montgomery Street.  It is lavishly Victorian in decor and aromatically Italian in cuisine.  One of their most popular dishes is this first course of tortellini, a miniature snail-shaped pasta similar to ravioli, and a happy change from the more commonplace Italian starches.
